Dear John Steinbeck... does "loose-hung boys" mean what I think it means?

The show was excellent, Against Me! was incredible, although their stage presence was a little lazy and so was the crowd. I like Dropkick Murphys but I don't know a lot of their songs, regardless they throw a fun show. The singer came down into the crowd at the end and that was when the crowd woke up and started doing what they should have been doing all night. I want to dodge fists and feet and make sure crowd surfers don't fall but there wasn't too much of that. I made my own little dance party though, so the hell with the rest of them.

I ended up driving home though, of course. Luckily I had stopped drinking around 7:30 or 8 and we left around 1, but I was not too pleased to have to drive Alex's big old Buick in unknown areas. GPS navigation needs some improvement, and I need to grow a foot so that I can reach the pedals in big cars. I also hate that I'm always the downer because I'm the safe driving police. I would love for once to NOT have to be a control freak, but apparently, Sunday night was not the night for that.

Yesterday was a lazy day, for the most part. We ordered food in and had our usual Simpsons marathon. Today Paul is at work, and then as soon as he gets home I have to go to work. I'm still sleepy and achy. I used to be able to go out and dance and get roughed up at a show and feel fine the next day. Now I have to go around smelling like Ben-gay and taking naps for the next two days.

I think the next few hours I will watch bad tv and read until I have to get ready for work. Hopefully I can leave early enough to get an Iced Caramel Macchiato, or at least an Iced Caramel Latte.

On an end note::
Molly Ringwald and Mimi from The Drew Carey show in one ABC family show... I don't know how to finish that sentence but... egads.

profile.
This is the section of my profile that lets you know the run down of who I am, or rather, who I think I am, or who I want you to think I am. I'm never any good at these because I change on a daily basis. Usually though, I am an introvert. I live my life in words, finding myself in lyrics, books, poetry, and my own writing. I'm kind of a loner, and usually like to be left to my own thoughts. I'm a survivor, and I'm trying to not live so much in the past, but in the present and the future. In the Fall I will be starting school full time to major in paralegal studies. It took me a long time to figure out what I wanted to do with my life, and I think I've finally got it. I like to learn things. I love the study of psychology, sociology, sciences, history... everything but math. I'm an avid reader and try to read at least two books a month, but usually it's more like four or five. This blog is to try to find beauty and hope in the everyday mundane parts of life. To try to focus on the positive, instead of getting lost in my own head. To try to stay connected, make new friends, and chronicle this part of my life. It's a much needed resurrection after a very long hiatus from journaling, as I used to write every single day in high school, and have boxes and boxes of journals filled with my thoughts and ideas. I hope to continue that trend now that I have this site.
